David Cox

Bio

David Cox is a freelance science writer focusing on all aspects of health from fitness and nutrition, to infectious diseases. He has also written for the BBC, WIRED, The Guardian, Telegraph and most UK national newspapers. Prior to becoming a full-time journalist, he was a neuroscientist attempting to understand why and how the brain goes wrong. For his PhD, he spent four years studying how the brain's immune cells contribute to schizophrenia at the University of Cambridge.
