Joshua Howgego

Bio

Joshua Howgego has been on staff with New Scientist for nearly nine years, first as a Features Editor, now as Deputy Head of Features. He primarily covers physical sciences, space and cosmology. Josh has a PhD in chemistry from the University of Bristol and an MSc in science communication from Imperial College London. He previously worked as a deputy editor at SciDev.net, a media website that covers the intersection of science and global development. During his time at university, Josh was shortlisted in The Guardian’s student media awards for feature writer of the year.
